Currency of Caldra
Caldra’s official currency is the Caldran Mark, divided into 100 bits and abbreviated CM. It is issued by the Central Bank of Caldra and used for taxes, wages, trade, public budgets, and daily commerce throughout the Republic.
The Caldran Mark is more than a medium of exchange. The 2026 Series reflects Caldra’s renewed civic identity as the Republic of Caldra, carrying the symbols of the Caldrian Stag, national service, education, heritage, and steady liberty.
The series is dedicated to Freya Lindquist, educator, professor, and civic reformer, whose portrait appears on the 100 Caldran Marks note. Other designs honor the Republic’s public institutions and historic inheritance, including Caldra City Cathedral and the long labor of national restoration.
Each note represents more than value. It carries the trust, law, memory, labor, and shared responsibility that support Caldra’s economy and civic life.
